Personal Practice

His work navigates the interplay between structural order and organic complexity, weaving compositions where patterns emerge, shift, and evolve through superposition and cyclic processes. Engaging with technology, form, and the body, he constructs environments and narratives that move between sensorial tension, playfulness, uncanny atmospheres, and humor, balancing abstraction with human presence. His compositions blend rigor and randomness, stark geometry and raw grit, the familiar and the odd, creating spaces where structured design gives way to layered visual densities.
Working both independently and in collaboration with artists, designers, and cultural institutions, he engages in theater and dance productions, video installations, scenographic design, and multimedia projects. His work has been presented in museums, theaters, festivals, and off spaces across Europe. Alongside his artistic and design practice, he has organized transdisciplinary events that foster dialogue between performance, music, and visual arts, emphasizing the intersection of creative fields.

Consultancy & Support

Matteo provides technical and creative consultancy for companies, artists, designers, and cultural institutions, supporting the development, planning, and execution of projects. His expertise spans from conceptualization to production, offering both artistic direction and technical problem-solving. Working closely with clients, he helps refine ideas, structure workflows, and bring projects to life, ensuring a balance between creative vision, technical feasibility, and production efficiency.
With experience in project management and production, he collaborates with a broad network of professionals in creative production, technical development, and fabrication, assembling tailored teams for each project. His approach emphasizes clear communication, collaborative problem-solving, and seamless coordination between artists, designers, engineers, and fabricators.

Teaching

Adjunct professor at Istituto Pantheon in Milan and Rome, teaching courses on 3D modeling and parametric design. The teaching approach emphasizes hands-on learning, guiding students through digital tools applied to design and visual arts. In addition to academic courses, he also leads independent workshops and personalized training sessions, applying a learning-by-doing methodology for artists, architects, and designers.
At Istituto Pantheon, courses include 3D Modeling Techniques and Architettura Virtuale, introducing NURBS and parametric modeling with Rhinoceros and Grasshopper, along with rendering techniques. Previous teaching experience includes courses on creative coding, interactive media, technical drawing, and digital tools for visual arts at institutions such as Accademia Carrara di Belle Arti and Istituto Pantheon.
Workshops have been held in collaboration with institutions such as Politecnico di Milano and PhycoLab, Hochschule der Künste Bern, Kulturbüro Bern, Otolab, Istituto NUMEN, and CSS Teatro Stabile di Innovazione del Friuli Venezia Giulia, covering topics like 3D and algorithmic modeling, creative coding, audiovisual composition, and multimedia productions.
